About Nat Torkington

I ran the first web server in New Zealand; moved to the US in 1995; cowrote The Perl Cookbook, edited technical books for O’Reilly Media; ran conferences on bioinformatics, Internet-enabled geospatial technologies, new voice technology, and open source software (including OSCON for ten years); moved back to New Zealand in 2005; run Kiwi Foo Camp; consult and teach.
